My new Dell XPS 1330 - Review

Oh my God!!!!
A month later of my original review (see below) my laptop broke. Apparently, there were some updates installed by Microsoft that harmed somehow the laptop. The problem kept locking me out of the system in a way I couldn't even log into windows. Dell support guided me to troubleshoot from different angles but with not success other than to reboot the entire system. To my bad fortune i did not save any of the docs I had previously worked on before the failure, so I lost everything. I forgot to activate the free storage area in Dell's website.
When buying a Dell laptop, get all the possible warranties.

ETA: May 12, 2008

Arrived: May 13, 2008

Arrival date excellent!

Laptop specs:

Windows Vista Home Premium

Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 (2.20GHz)

3Gb RAM

250 Hard Drive

Although it is a very powerful laptop, it is lighter than the Mac (of course, the one before the Macbook Air). I immediately installed Windows messenger and Skype, which started creating some problems with the operative system.

I found funny that the tech support number on the invoices is not for XPS laptops. They had to give me another one (this is not very handy)
